BADGES OF THE WELCH REGIMENT (4)

Below are various badges worn at one time or another my members of units of the Welch Regiment. On the Upper Left is the badge of the Welch Brigade, which was worn between 1960-1969. At the Upper Right is the unique collar badge of the '16th Battalion City of Cardiff' which served with the 38th Division in World War One.
At below Left is the unit patch of the 38th (Welsh) Division, worn on the upper left sleeve of the battledress. In the Second World War the unit patch of the Division was change to a yellow cross on a blue background mounted on a shield.
At the Lower Right is the Unit patch of the 53rd (Welsh) Division, also worn on the upper left sleeve.
